Located in the I-80 industrial corridor of Chicago, Rock Run is a two building, 182,000 SF industrial portfolio acquired by Citimark in 2018. The rear-load warehouse and distribution facilities were originally constructed in 2002 and each contain 24’ clear heights. Rock Run was offered for sale by a Chicago based investment firm as part of a larger portfolio sale. Citimark ran along side a local Chicago investor who had the entire portfolio under contract to step in and acquire the Rock Run assets separately in a simultaneous closing. During it’s hold period, Citimark completed a significant amount of leasing at the properties and sold them in 2021 to an international private equity real estate firm based out of Boston.
